115th Anniversary of the Mexican Revolution Parade

Mexico celebrated the 115th Anniversary of the Mexican Revolution with a spectacular and culturally rich parade at Zócalo Square in Mexico City on November 20, 2025. Thousands gathered to honor the pivotal 1910 uprising that ended Porfirio Díaz’s dictatorship and paved the way for land reform, social justice, and modern democracy in Mexico.

The parade featured vibrant traditional costumes, reenactments of revolutionary battles, and tributes to legendary figures such as Emiliano Zapata, Pancho Villa, and Francisco I. Madero. Participants dressed as soldaderas, indigenous communities, rural workers, and historical icons brought the revolutionary spirit to life with expressive detail.

Colorful charro outfits, embroidered dresses, and sombreros filled the streets, accompanied by marching bands, folkloric dancers, cavalry units, and ornate floats illustrating key moments of the revolution. Horses decorated with traditional tack added authenticity and visual grandeur to the country’s largest historical parade.

Government officials, civil organizations, and military contingents joined the celebration, highlighting the revolution’s ongoing influence on Mexico’s national identity and cultural heritage. Crowds at Zócalo Square—one of the world’s largest public plazas—celebrated values of unity, resilience, and pride embedded deeply in the country’s history.

This year’s commemoration once again showcased Mexico’s rich traditions and the lasting legacy of the revolution in shaping the nation’s social and political landscape.
