Sinan Turaman introduced the groundbreaking exhibition “INFERNO: Immersive Experience in the Divine Comedy” at the Cattedrale dell’Immagine in Florence on May 14, 2026, offering visitors a large-scale digital journey inspired by the literary masterpiece of Dante Alighieri.
Produced by Outdoor Factory and Crossmedia Group, the exhibition represents a significant cultural milestone. It marks the first time a Turkish-led creative team has realized a major immersive interpretation of the “Divine Comedy” in Florence, the birthplace of Dante and one of the most historically important centers of Italian literature and art.
Upon entering the exhibition, visitors were welcomed by a striking bust of Dante alongside large digital projections and cinematic visuals inspired by passages from the “Inferno” section of the epic poem. Through advanced projection mapping, sound design, and immersive storytelling, the exhibition transformed Dante’s vision into a dynamic multimedia experience.
The project blends classical literature with modern technology, allowing audiences to engage with the themes, symbolism, and emotional intensity of the “Inferno” in a contemporary format. Expansive visuals and atmospheric soundscapes guided visitors through dramatic interpretations of Dante’s descent, creating an environment that was both artistic and educational.
The exhibition attracted art enthusiasts, literature lovers, and tourists eager to experience a fresh perspective on one of the world’s most influential literary works. Florence, known globally for its Renaissance heritage, provided a meaningful backdrop for the project, strengthening the connection between historical tradition and innovative digital art.
By bringing together Turkish creative vision and Italian literary heritage, Turaman’s exhibition highlighted the growing international reach of immersive art experiences and demonstrated how timeless works can be reimagined for modern audiences.
