My heart is wide.
There is room for everyone.
Because a person does not grow by closing the heart, but by opening it. We expand by sharing, and deepen by loving. A heart does not live through fear, but through trust; it grows stronger not by locking its door, but by leaving it gently open.
Everyone who enters our lives leaves a trace. Some settle quietly into a corner of the heart—never a burden, but a breath. Over time, they become not a habit, but a sense of belonging. You may not speak the same words, yet there are people you can share silence with in the same space. They are the ones who stay… because the heart recognizes those who speak its language.
But not every heart is ready for such openness.
Some people cannot believe you could truly be this kind. They question sincerity, searching for hidden motives beneath clarity. They look for flaws, test your limits, and challenge your intentions—because questioning your light is easier than facing their own inner chaos.
As the saying goes:
“The crooked stings the straight, calling the straight crooked.”
Often, the deeper truth is this: they feel they do not deserve that goodness. And a person cannot find peace in what they believe they are unworthy of.
This is where discomfort begins.
While you remain exactly who you are, the other may try to reshape you. But having a generous heart does not mean holding on to everyone. Some cannot remain in such openness; peace feels heavy to them, calm feels suffocating.
People like this either leave on their own, or when the time comes, we gently let them go. Not with anger, not with resentment—but simply back to where they belong.
Letting go is not a loss.
It is clarity.
It is making space for those who truly deserve to stay—those who understand kindness, respect boundaries, and do not mistake goodness for weakness.
The heart is still wide…
But now, it is calmer.
Its door remains open, yet those who enter—and those who stay—know its value.
And then a person realizes this:
The heart becomes clear—
some quietly find their place within it,
and some quietly find their way away.
